PINE MOUNTAIN SCENIC RAILROAD IS OPEN!
Reservations are required!  Check available entry times and tickets before coming to the Museum.  Social Distancing Applies!


FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL VISITORS, AND STAFF THE FOLLOWING STRICTLY ENFORCED SOCIAL DISTANCING RULES ARE IN PLACE:

1. All activities except hiking are by reservation only.  All visitors must wait at gate until checked in by Pine Mountain Gold Museum Staff.  If staff is not present, please use the contact phone number to reach us.  678.840.1445.

2. Staff is not permitted to make walk-in sales for Train, or panning.  Reservations are first come, first served.  All reservations must be made through Ticket Division.  https://www.ticketdivision.com/page/21058/pine-mountain-gold-museum

3. All groups are limited to no more then 10 (TEN) visitors at a time.  Entry fee is required for all visitors over the age of 2 (TWO.)

4. All visitors will use hand sanitizer upon entering Museum building, panning shed, or train depot.  All visitors over the age of 3 (THREE) will wear a mask while inside the Museum Building, and while aboard the train.

RESERVATIONS FOR TRAIN, PANNING, AND MUSEUM ARE SEPARATE. 

Panning ticket gives you your choice of gold or gemstone panning.  Additional gold pans, or gemstones may be purchased at the Museum building.  Reservations are available for 11:00, 1:00, 3:00 ONLY.

Refunds given in event of rain ONLY.  Please note your entrance time and arrive on schedule.  No one will be admitted once their scheduled, ticketed entry time has passed.

Take a ride on our scenic train!  Board C.P. Huntington Engine #310 for a trip around the base of Pine Mountain.  The train passes through the ruins of the old mining station, the Live Animal Exhibit, and our farm.  The train can carry 28 passengers at a time.    

Ticket Pricing:
Tickets are $5.00 per person.  Riders aged 2 and under are free with a ticketed adult.  During special events, tickets prices and times are subject to change.  Make sure to check our event pages for more detailed information about special event ticketing or call the Museum directly at 678.840.1445.

Please Note:
The train operates Tuesday through Saturday on schedule unless there is rain.  Safety regulations require that we do not operate the train when the rails are wet, and there is inclement weather.  Up tp date service and maintenance information is available on our Facebook, or by contacting the Museum directly at 678.840.1445.  

Rules for Passengers:
  • Follow the directions of the train engineer or conductor at all times
  • No food or drink
  • Keep arms and legs inside the train coach at all time
